We are always interested in purchasing old postcards. Last year we bought around 300.000 postcards and edited them. This year will probably be even more. Our sale is increasing, so we are especially interested on bigger amounts of postcards.

1. How much do you pay for old postcards?
   

   • We can only give precise prices for your postcards, after we‘ve seen them. To offer a global prize is dubiosa, we think. In general, the greater the selling chance (rare postcards), the higher the price. That is why, our price varies between 30 and 60 percent of the sales price. For a fast transaction it is important to know about your idea of the price. We don‘t hide our sales prices. At the moment you‘re able to look at the prices of about 270 000 postcards in our online shop.
     
     

2. How does the purchase work?
   

   • We welcome you in our shop (Map), to purchase your postcards. If you‘re not from Berlin or surrounding, we advise you to send it by post:

     Please don’t send us less then a hundred postcards.
     Please contact us (Telefon/Fax: 030-21232414), before you offer postcards. We need more than a scan for a final decision to purchase postcards from you (the quality is usually not good enough, or the description isn‘t exact and it is too time consuming for us). For a safe delivery we suggest to send the postcards as a parcel (the parcel is automatically insured up to 500 Euros, insurances for a bigger value are easily bought at the post office). Please enclose a message with the number of postcards, the proposed price, your address as well as your telefon number. If it doesn‘t come to a contract we will send it back to you at our cost of course.
     
     

3. How old do the postcards have to be?

   • The postcards should be printed before 1945.
     
     

4. Does it matter, whether there is writing on the back of the card?

   • In principle it doesn‘t matter, but we would be happy to get postcards, that were send at their printed time. It is more important, that the postcards are in sound conditions. We don‘t buy damaged postcards.
     
     

5. If you are a trader yourself,
   

   • and if you want to sell your stock or part of your stock, you can contact us. Many postcard traders sold their stock or parts of it to us in the last few years. It is always important for us, that both sides are satisfied with the purchase/sale, because we‘re especially interested in regular daelings.
